Venue branding and visual identity for a community centre
The Yewsley and West Drayton Community Centre, a hub for social, recreational, and educational activities since 1967, was undergoing a full renovation. With the physical space modernised, the brand identity also needed to reflect a renewed sense of place and personality.
To give the centre a stronger sense of identity, I simplified the name to ‘The YWD’, creating a more concise and memorable brand. The visual identity was designed to work across a wide range of visitor touchpoints, from social media and event promotions to signage and wayfinding system.
