Jamm Jamm

Jamm Jamm is a Caribbean fusion restaurant bringing vibrant flavours and a relaxed, social dining experience to Brixton. Working closely with the owner and head chef, I developed the brand strategy, positioning and visual identity for the restaurant, creating a brand that reflected their vision for the dining experience, as well as the heritage and authenticity of the cuisine.





The challenge was to capture the energy and spirit of Caribbean cuisine while avoiding the familiar visual clichés often associated with Jamaican restaurants. Instead, the identity takes inspiration from the allspice berry to create a distinctive visual language that feels contemporary, memorable and true to its roots.

Alongside the primary logo, a secondary signature mark provides a more subtle way to express the brand across uniforms, signage and other touchpoints, helping the identity remain present and recognisable without feeling overly branded. 

The result is a system that reflects the passion behind the food, the warmth of the hospitality and the vibrant social atmosphere that defines Jamm Jamm.
